The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has AGAIN asked us to host a Kids Handgun Safety Awareness and Kids Bully Prevention in April 2016!!! This is awesome in so many ways. Teaching children firearms safety and bully prevention is a win on every level and we are very excited about the future!

Like our Facebook page Top Firearms Instruction! Not only will you see all of the new Kansas and Missouri Concealed Carry Class dates as soon as they are confirmed, we are now publishing a Training Tip of the week! These will help you in your ongoing journey to become safer and more proficient!

Spring of 2014 is going to be an incredible time for Top Firearms Instruction! The weekend of April 12/13, Lead Instructor Tyson Kilbey will be in Dodge City, Kansas for a Tactical Handgun course and a Kansas Concealed Carry Course. On Sunday, April 27th, Tyson will be compete at the Tri-County Handgun/Shotgun competition in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Then in May, there will be both a Kansas Concealed Carry Course and Fundamentals of Handgun I course in Overland Park, Kansas!

We have had some outstanding Kansas Concealed Carry Classes within the last month! Our October 20th Overland Park Class was a major success, and our November 2nd Class in Lenexa was one of the best groups we have had! We are looking forward to climbing the ladder with more shooters this winter!

We had one of our best Kansas Concealed Carry Classes this weekend! Here is one of the many positive evaluations: "Excellent instruction! We had all levels of handgun experience in the room-everyone learned new skills and information....The experience of both instructors is very evident. Outstanding weekend in Jetmore, Kansas at the Horsethief Reservoir with some great shooters! Also, the Jetmore Republican featured an awesome front page article about our Concealed Carry Class!

Congratulations to Top Firearms Lead Instructor Tyson Kilbey for winning first place in both the open and limited divisions at the Tri-County Action Pistol Competition on Saturday, June 29th!

Congratulations to Top Firearms Instruction Lead Instructor Tyson Kilbey for winning the Grand Aggregate Award at the KPOA Spring Shoot in Hays, Kansas! Also, congratulations to instructor Larry Drake for winning the Old Masters Award!

April 2013 is going to be an incredibly busy and exciting month for Top Firearms Instruction! On April 14th, we are traveling to Jetmore, Kansas for a SOLD OUT class of shooters for our Kansas Concealed Carry Class. April 21st, we are back in the Overland Park and Olathe Area for another Kansas Concealed Carry Class that is filling up rapidly. On April 27th, we plan on traveling to the Bonner Springs area to join the shooters at the Tri-County Rod and Gun Club for their Handgun/Shotgun Competition. On April, 28th, we have a Proficiency of Handgun Class in the Olathe/Overland Park area! May is going to be just as busy, with the KPOA competition in Hays, KS, and our soon to be determined Concealed Carry Class dates! Join us this spring! You will not regret it!
